See what your adjuster receives

Don't take our word for it. This is the actual PDF packet Havn.ai builds, generated by the same code that runs in the app and filled with a fictional sample claim.

Sample uses made-up data — “Example Mutual Insurance,” a fictional Galveston address — so you can see the format, not someone's claim.

What's inside

Organized the way adjusters expect to read it, with every number traced back to a document you uploaded.

  • Claim summary. Property, date of loss, carrier, policy and claim numbers, type of loss, and where the claim stands.
  • Coverage snapshot. Dwelling, personal property and loss-of-use limits with your deductible, read from your declarations page.
  • Expense ledger. Every loss-of-use cost by category and date, the running total against your limit, and a flag on anything with no receipt attached.
  • Mileage. Trips logged, the routine they're measured against, and the overage math — shown as a methodology, not an assertion.
  • Contents inventory. Belongings room by room with quantity, condition, replacement cost and actual cash value.
  • Estimate comparison. Insurer and contractor estimates side by side — totals, and room-by-room subtotals with the spread where line items were read.
  • Payments received. Each insurer check recorded, what it was for, and the running totals — received, paid out, and what's still in hand.
  • Timeline. Letters, calls, inspections and deadlines in date order.
  • Document index. Every file in the claim, so the recipient can ask for one by name.

How you send it

You do. Havn.ai generates the packet and, on a paid plan, will email it to an address you type — but there is no integration with any insurer, and nothing is submitted on your behalf. You choose the recipient, you press send, and the packet is what they get.

What you can leave out

Every section is a toggle. If you're sending this to a contractor, drop the coverage snapshot. If your adjuster asked only about living expenses, send only the ledger — with the receipt files attached as a zip and the expenses as a CSV they can open in a spreadsheet.

Where the numbers come from

Rows in your claim, not model output. Every figure in the packet is a value you confirmed, computed with integer arithmetic, and the disclaimer is stamped on every page — it's an organized record of what you provided, not an opinion about what you're owed.

This is general information, not legal or insurance advice. Every policy is different, and only your own policy and your state's rules decide your claim. For advice, talk to your adjuster, a licensed public adjuster, or an attorney.

Put this into practice

Havn.ai does the organizing for you: upload your policy, receipts, estimates and letters, and it reads them into an organized claim and a report you can hand to your adjuster. Free to start, in your browser.
