Frequently asked questions
What people ask before they upload a policy. Still stuck? Support reads everything.
How do I get it?
Use it right now at app.myhavn.ai — it runs in your browser, nothing to install, and starting is free. Sign in with your email and a one-time code; no password to invent. The iPhone app is in private testing on TestFlight — join the waitlist and we'll email you when it reaches the App Store. Android is planned.
Is this legal advice?
No. Havn.ai organizes your documents, records what you spend, and explains what your own paperwork says — always citing the page it came from. It is not a law firm, a licensed public adjuster, or an insurance company, and it never tells you what to do about your claim. For advice on coverage, strategy, or a dispute, talk to your adjuster, a licensed public adjuster, or an attorney.
Who can see my documents?
You — and, only if you choose to link a contractor's Havn Pro workspace to a claim, its team sees the parts you agreed to share (never your receipts, expenses, belongings or assistant chats). Your files are stored privately and isolated to your account — no public links, no shared buckets. Opening a file mints a short-lived link that expires in minutes. We use AI providers to read your documents, so the contents pass through them to produce your extractions and answers; they aren't used to train anyone's model. You can hard-delete a claim, or your whole account, at any time — files and all. The privacy policy names every processor.
What if my claim is already denied?
Upload the denial letter. Havn.ai explains it in plain language and shows the exact passages from your own policy it points to, so you can see what was actually relied on. It won't tell you whether to appeal or draft one for you — that's a conversation for a licensed professional — but it will make sure you understand the letter and have your documents in order before you have it. More on denial letters.
What does it cost?
Nothing to start, and we don't ask for a card. The free plan includes every feature on this site, with limits — 25 documents per claim, 10 assistant and AI actions a day, 40 address and price lookups a day, 25 documents read a day, and 5 reports a day that carry a small “Created free with Havn.ai” line; emailing a report from the app isn't included. To lift the limits on one claim there is a one-time Claim Pass — $199, and it applies to that claim for 24 months — or Havn.ai Plus at $29/month for every claim on your account. Both are bought in the iPhone app; the web app and Android can't take payments yet, but a pass bought on your iPhone applies to your claim everywhere you sign in.
Does Havn.ai talk to my insurance company?
No, and it never will without you. Havn.ai organizes, records, drafts and explains — it does not file, submit, schedule, send, or negotiate anything with an insurer, lender, adjuster or contractor. When you email a report packet, you are the sender and you choose the recipient.
What kinds of claims does it handle?
Residential property claims: water damage and burst pipes, storm and wind or hail damage, fire and smoke, theft and vandalism, mold, and the loss-of-use costs that follow any of them. It is built around a US homeowners policy (HO-3 and similar), and it works for renters and condo policies too — the documents and the math are the same shape.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Our AI providers process your content solely to produce your extractions and answers, under settings where your content is not used to train their models. We never sell your data and we don't run ads. See the privacy policy for the full list of processors and what each one receives.
Put this into practice
Havn.ai does the organizing for you: upload your policy, receipts, estimates and letters, and it reads them into an organized claim and a report you can hand to your adjuster. Free to start, in your browser.
Want it on your iPhone?
The web beta is open — use Havn.ai right now, no waitlist needed. Leave your email and we'll let you know the moment the iPhone app reaches the App Store — nothing else, no spam.
